I know you have as much faith in your company as Noah had in the flood, but dont think that people will see common sense and follow purely because this company is the greatest.

It doesnt work that way.

In fact, even if people do join, the reason they STAY has nothing to do with the company either.

The single most important reason people will join your downline and stay is. you.

This is a singular point that needs to be stressed a lot.

affiliate marketing can be done in two ways.

-Build a huge list, and I mean absolutely massive, then promote as if you are big player that can fill downlines fast and get people to join under. You then begin the fight to keep them there for more than a few months. My guess is that having a massive list is more about selling products than affiliate marketing.

-Or, build a list for the singular purpose of finding good people to work with. Not hundreds of people, although your list may need to be hundreds big to find a good person to with, I am talking about working with about 2 to 5 people at a time from the list. Once you find these people get them to the point where they are in your downline, set up for recruiting and ready to mentor their team. The bonus is that you can still promote products to your list and keep your good name.

This sounds contrary to what is being shouted out in the marketing material. The marketing has nothing to do with people; they want you to think it is a numbers game. It makes the whole process seem easier and more doable to talk numbers to people. This is not an approach that works for one reason.

Never has been, never will be. This is a business like any other, it is about people.

Working with people is a lot harder to do, and is harder to sell than numbers. But it is how businesses are made. No-one has ever built a business without other people working with them, it simply cant be done.

In order to keep the people in your downline, you need to treat them as people, with respect, communication, support and a team approach.

Do this, and you will find retention is not an issue, and your downline will quickly grow month by month even though you only work with up to 5 people.
